I am nearing my wits end today.
He’s having a tantrum everytime I stop him from doing something he shouldn’t. I pick himup nicely and move him from pressing the buttons on the TV - he screams. I hold the DVD cabinet closed and tell him no and hand him a book, he throws the book and screams.
I’ve resorted to putting him in his crib and closing the door. *sigh* About 2 seconds after I put him down was quite. I think he’s fallen alseep or he’s playing quitely with his stuffed animals, either way it’s BETTER!
What do I do about this? How do I divert him better to avoid the tatrums? Can I? Or is this something that we just have to wait out? HELP!
We need more activities too. We need more to do - to get us out of the house. Summer’s hard for activities (groups ones to sign up for) and there’s only so much that I can afford to take him to do. I think about going for walks and stuff, but I don’t see it far that he’s constantly in the stroller… he can’t be learning all that much from sitting there while I push him around.. KWIM?
I think my brain’s just fried and I have no creavtive abilities to make these last weeks really fun.
