UPDATE: Work Meeting

So, I had that meeting. It turned out better then I had hoped.

It’s been decided that I will take on a new product line. We’ve begun to do PreConstruction Condition Surveys. This is where before ground is broken for a new construction site, we go to surrounding buildings and document any existing damage - cracks, peeling of paint, etc. It’s very tedious work, that I don’t mind.
I will work along side a co-worker that has be doing this for a few years for our parent company as a contract worker. This way I will learn the process and hopefully in time be able to change it up and make it mine, a little.
I was leary about it at first, but on the drive home thought about it. I can work from home with this type of work, I can have varying hours, I can start at 7am and work to 3;30 - like I had wanted… I have room to grow and good possibility for a more competative wage.

So, though I was a little disapointed in the beginning, I think this will be the best thing for me right now, and if I see differently ina year or so, my boss says that we can re-evaluate where I want to be going with my career.
