I am Canadian. I have never lived in the United States, yet this day is one that I will still never forget.
I remember exactly what I was doing when I heard. It’s something that will stay with me forever.
I took a trip to New York with my then best friend when I was 16. It was the greatest trip I’ve ever had. I fell in love with New York then, and it’s always had a piece of my heart since. My heart broke when I heard the news of the attacks.
For those that have lost loved ones, my thoughts are with you. For my dear friends that are American, my heart is with you and your fellow citizens.
