I thought this would never happen, but it is! I say serves her right. Even though she did only get 45 days, being a celebrity can’t always get you out of trouble!
I’m actually shocked she didn’t get community service, I assumed she would since that seems to be the norm with celebrity crimes. Is it just me, or are serious crimes simply dropped because of their celebrity status?
Many times these people are let off; given warnings, community service: a “regular” person commits the same crime and it’s jail time, large sums for bail, interventions, rehab, etc.
Honestly, how does celebrity status dismiss your responsibilities as an ADULT? I can’t figure it out. Are officers of the law that star struck they forget their responsibilities? Their oaths to uphold the law?
Paris has been pulled over numerous times, the latest for drinking and driving, THEN, speeding while driving with a suspended license? Seriously? She gets 45 days!? What would a “normal” citizen receive for an offense like that? 6 months? Court ordered rehab?
What a role model. *gag* Pisses me off.

Maybe all the focus on Anna Nicole Smith has paid off–some of these celebs need a wake up call like 45 days in the slammer to make them see that their behavior is a concern. I’m surprised she hasn’t decided tomake a show out of it LOL
Good. I didn’t hear about it.
Hopefully she won’t be allowed to shlop around in designer duds getting photo ops like Naomi Campbell did.
Now I hear they are appealing the sentence. What?! I saw the cell she would be in…it’s like a country club compared to a regular jail. I say she needs to grow up and deal with it. You do the crime, you do the time. Plain and sample…whether you are Nicole Kidman or the average Joe Schmo.
