Because seriously, I got raped. I cannot believe the prices; why does it seem that everything has increased ten fold in the matter of a week?
I just ran in for romaine lettuce and caesar dressing but came out with $120 bucks worth of shit. (Not literally shit though because that would be gross. I wouldn’t go to the grocery store for shit. Maybe a home store or something… nevermind).
You’d think my watermelon was laced with heroin, or the apples were encrusted with diamonds, but I’m not that lucky, even though we did win the lottery just the other day.
If I was shopping at a whole food store, buying organics foods, I dread to even think of the costs. I mean a half a bushel of frigging bananas is double the price then normal bananas.
*gasp* Did she say normal? I think she said normal!
I have yet to buy into the whole organic mumbo-jumbo. I personally see it as a money grab. But then, my mind is clouded with all those pesticides from the hydroponic paraphernalia I am slowly killing my family with.
Though I will admit that I am uneducated in the ways of organic farming and purchasing, I know what a tomato looks like and I can see that the hydroponic one sitting across the way is much bigger and juicier for half the cost. I’m sold. It’s that simple.
Forget feeding me the pesticides kill insects and are made of harmful chemicals spiel because this mephitic disease laden uneducated fool ain’t buyin’ what you’re selling.
Insects deserve to die and I breathe in enough shit (again, not literally) from pollution on a daily basis that paying double for my red pepper ain’t gonna make me live longer or happier.
Now, should they figure out a way to create foods with the ability to make me skinnier, happier, richer and more MILF-ier (Ha! Made that one up. You like? ) then I’d be all over that shit. But until then, I’ll enjoy eating my man-made-grown-in-a-vat-of-chemicals food.
How about you?

We do the organic route on many things … my grocery bills are ridiculous!
But I fucking love that picture! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Great work!

I don’t do organic, it’s very expensive and I just cannot get passed the fact that it does NOT look appetizing enough to buy. The only organic I do is my own vegetable garden.
I agree with you on the prices ~ crazy!!!! I like to at least buy local fruits and vegetables and mid june….it’s JUST starting to trickle in now. Frustrating!
