Mike’s always threatened that once he goes completely grey (since it’s already started) or if his hair starts falling out he’s going to shave his head completely bald. I cringe every time we have the conversation and change the subject instantly. I am not a big fan of the bald look.
Seriously, there’s only a handful of people in this world that can work the baldness and I don’t think he’s one of them.
BUT! Fear not!

My dad was bald by the time he was 23. All 4 of my brothers are bald. I like naturally bald guys but am not too fond of the shaved-head bald guys. Especially since it’s a look that has to maintained on a daily basis and it’s too much work for most guys to keep up with every morning. So it ends up looking like stubble.
Worse than that, I hate comb-overs. Seriously, do these guys not look in the mirror? Yuck.

As a guy who has more hair than he knows what to do with, this is a strange thing for me to think about. Mine’s going gray, but my barber always laments that he wished he could have a third of mine, it would go unnoticed on me, and would help him out a lot.
To me, men who are going bald, look better to go ahead and cut the rest really short. Not smooth bald, but like the guy in the pic from prison break you put on here. Or the way Bruce Willis does it sometimes. You can see what he has left, but understand that he’s bald on top. That looks much, much better than being bald on top, but letting the sides/back grow out as if they had a full head of hair. I know it isn’t fair, but that just looks better. Not smooth bald, but really short.
I had a big surgery a couple of years ago, and had my hair cut off like this so that I wouldn’t have to trouble with it for weeks, and it only confirmed for me, that if I were to start going bald, I’d keep the rest cut to about 1/8 inches.
Toupees (or however you spell it) always look bad, and the worst is a guy who is bald on top but let the rest grow long. And EVERBODY hates a comb-over.

I think bald can be incredibly sexy.
People would flee in fear if I ever had to be bald…I have a strangley misshapen head. My parents swear they never dropped me as a baby…

Your list is wonderful and I agree not everyone can do bald. Our son was bald (smooth as a Cue ball) from the age of 8 to 12–his choice. He has a very nice shaped head and looked good, but he does with hair too. His dad went quite short too, but now has grown it out and people say he looks younger even with the grey. You could try that as a deterrent. Happy TT.

um. Me likey. haha. I LOVE a bald head on a gorgeous man. I DO NOT like it on women. The only one in your list who I think pulled it off was Sinead.
And this is not my age showing. When I was younger then you Sam i always had an …um… affinity…for receding hairlines. LOL. Not sure why. HAHA

OMG I LOVE that you made this list! My husband is bald since he has the hair loss problem too… he looks pretty good that way, FORTUNATELY. I always say, bald is better than a comb-over!

I wouldn’t like the Tour Manager as a baldie, I have to admit. He’s got awesome hair.
