Ugh, I’m sorry you are having such a rough week. Alexander used to be a biter, but thankfully I was the only victim of his crimes. He’s sweet as pie at school.

I know what you mean about the daycare. Granted, they pretty much get paid peanuts, but if you get paid peanuts and you don’t like kids, you best go work at McD’s as far as I’m concerned. All of Alexander’s teachers have been wonderful except for one and he was in her class a very short time. She used to say things to the kids like “Shut your freaking mouth” and the only reason I kept my cool is because it was never towards my child and he was moved to another class shortly after I complained. (she has since had a baby and is not at the daycare anymore - at least not right now)

Oh no. That is the problem with daycare. These people are very underpaid, for their schooling. They aren’t motivated. It’s like nursing. The only people who make money in daycares are the owners. If I remember correctly you have Carter in a top notch daycare too. Ever thought of a nanny? I have a few friends who do that. They really lucked out.

god, I wish I would’ve had your attitude when we were doing the daycare thing. When my first was little and in daycare and we were in the beginnings of dealing with and identifying mild autism, if I would get a bad report. Or even a hint of exasperation on the part of the daycare workers. The world came crashing down. I took it so personally. Tried to make it all better. If they like ME then that will help them to like my KID. I beat myself up a lot. I wish I could say it were over, but now we’ve got the school system to deal with. I’m older and wiser now and only take it about 75 percent as personally as I used to.
