My kids have grown up on Kraft dinners, cereal and Chef BoyRDee.

    They seem fine.

    LOL.

But I’m sure you make the best KD EVAH!

Ew, Chef BoyRDee makes me barf in my mouth! LOL

Ditto! Ain’t nothing wrong with some fortified goodness in the PM! It’s a jump start on the next day, right? They do say breakfast is the most important meal. Why NOT have it for dinner?

Hahaha! I like the way you think!

Sounds good to me. Better than eating popcorn for dinner, which is my preference.

    Mmmm.. popcorn.

If he was old enough, I’d probably give that to him too!

I don’t cook all that much when Husband’s away either.
Daughter and I just forage around the fridge like chipmunks. Heh.

    Hahaha, chipmunks!

    You live off peanut butter?

My Punkin’ would live off Shells and Cheese if he could.

Well, I guess he kind of does……

  9. Sandra says:

I can’t cook. At all. At all. At all.

But my son doesn’t know it. He loves PC frozen lasagna or whip up some KD and when I open a can of chickpeas. He tells his dad I am the best cook in the world. Poor poor child.

Hopefully Carter thinks as fondly of me when he’s older!

What they don’t know won’t hurt them Sandra!

  10. Devilish Southern Belle says:

There have been many, many nights where my kids and I just had sandwiches or cereal for supper. I refuse to feel guilty about it; my kids are healthy and happy, thankyouverymuch! I do like to cook, it just doesn’t always happen.

Oh he’s doing great, and he eats great on healthy food too. And thank goodness for daycare because I know he eats vegetables there. Hahaha

  11. Tina says:

Absolutely nothing wrong with “that” kind of cereal. If it were sugar coated puffy puff (lol) I would say different. Add a sliced banana to the mix. Perfect dinner. (Much better then KMC). :0)

We eat whole grain toast, cheese, and fruit for supper somtimes.

(I used to LOVE bacon before I gave it up) It and breakfast sausage are now the only meat that still makes me twitch. I loved it. Though better off without it.)

  12. Jenny says:

I find myself having cereal a lot. Jay wouldn’t consider cereal as a meal other than breakfast. With these hot, humid days, sometimes cereal is all that I can muster. He eats a frozen burrito!

Ick. Frozen burrito? Does it warm it up? LOL

I love eating cereal for dinner. Gives me an excuse to have more then one bowl. Bwahahaha!

    YES!!!! NOT alone! LOVE it!!

OK, I totally know this is not the point of the post, but this bacon cooker is awesome: http://www.freshfinds.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.detail/_/Bacon-Cooker/productID/1019626d-44ec-4083-99ff-daef9fb023b4/categoryID/7b9ab3ed-89b3-464e-8227-75806dfea61d/
I never cooked bacon that much before but now my daughter loooves it and I hated the bacon stinking up the house when I would cook it on the stovetop.

And cereal for dinner? Awesome, woman after my own heart :-)

    LOL!!!

The bacon cooker. That’s something my husband would LOVE! He’ll eat an entire pound of bacon in one sitting.
