Getting Carter to share has been quite the feat lately. Everything is “MINE!” in a growling yet cute! voice as he violently swings his arms, clutched around his newly prized possession.

In 2006, when I began this site, you would have found me sharing a lot about my struggles as a new parent. Since my kids have both made it through the first few years, relatively unscathed, this space has transitioned into one where I now share my challenges as a runner, home renovator, and a working mom.
