walking (and whining) dead.

by samantha on October 5, 2007

Dead. That’s how I feel.

Completely and utterly dead.

First trimester is giving me a Royal Ass Kicking.

I have been parenting from the couch once I get home from work. I sleep while tapped episodes of Dora and Diego play and I give The Kid cheese buns for dinner. (Though last night I slaved over chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes to have him only eat the potatoes and Mike came home late and didn’t even eat dinner. See the thanks I get?)

Cheese buns tonight again.

I am constantly nauseous yet no barfing. I don’t know which I hate more. The nausea or barfing, but I’d do anything not to have either. I hate it so much I resorted to tears last night.

It didn’t help curb the nauseous feeling at all, so don’t bother.

I’m over at Ali’s place today.

Spreading my dullness and boring posts through out Teh Internets.

You can thank me later.

Right now, I think I might sleep on my desk.

If I didn’t snore so damn loud, I might even get away with it.

came to you via Ali’s blog…

congrats on your pregnancy. Hard to be thankful and pissed off with each bout of nausea isn’t it? Seriously though, at least you are tossing out something for dinner (and you know, with rolls, you can toss them! makes returning to the couch that much faster! Woo Hoo!)

I’m also wondering about this “cheese bun”. It sounds like something I could approve of!

Since you’re all so interested…Said cheese bun is just a normal kaiser like bun with cheese baked in and on top. Very yummy. Must be a Canadian thing. ;)

By the way, congrats!!

God I don’t miss that counterintuitive – I feel like I’m going to barf up my guts but the best thing to do right now is stuff my face feeling.

Congrats on the pregnancy! And I think you are right, chessy buns must be a Canadian thing. We used to have them all the time when I was little.

aw hon. It goes easier. I was there recently….I felt so guilty for making Ryan watch videos while I slept on the couch. Once you are through the first tri though it gets so much easier and better. Hang in there. It’s all so worth it!

I puked like a supermodel and only ended up still feeling like hell with popped blood vessels in my eyeballs.
Keep it in, you’ll feel the same but you’ll look much better.
Promise.

i know all about the nausea from hell. i had all-day-long morning sickness for both of my boys. unfortunately it lasted for 6 months with my second…that sucked, because my oldest was only 6 months old when the morning sickness started!
