Oh…that’s horrible. They just don’t get it, do they. They think they are being funny, or cute, or something.

I hope he realizes, and makes it up to you in whatever way works for you!

I’m sorry girly, you are definetly in my thoughts (and prayers! :) )………….
Men oftentimes, especially during pregnancy, (after the first one especially too) show their fear, etc. in MUCH different ways than we do. I.E. the “assholism”, but I know (and I’m sure you know too) that he loves you, and the babie(s), ha, there are TWO now! :)
But, it still doesn’t “excuse” his behavior, but to be honest, I could definetely see my hubby being the same way every now and then if we have a 2nd. Because as you described, our first was very easy, no sickness, or anything, and I obviously had no other child to run/care after, work, etc. AND you both know what is coming this time! LOL :) God-love them though, but being a parent, ESPECIALLY a Mamma! Is HARD! Yes, I wish they could experience pregnancy, child-birth, motherhood a’la’ “Junior” just for 24 hrs. too! Tell him to shape-up and get it together or else I’ll come up there and kick his butt! :) LOL Really though girly, hang-in there, we’re all pulling for ya’! :)

My ass of a husband was exactly the same way with my last 2 pregnancies…even with my first he thought I was MAKING myself throw up because for some reason I sounded like I was coughing while I was hurling and apparently that’s just not normal. *rolls eyes*

Men would so not survive if they had to go through the same things we do. *hug*

ohhhhh…. you know…. even though I remember my hubs as being saintly and perfect …. um… yeah… you have totally reminded me of a time when he was not - he stressed me out so bad I saw spots and almost passed out - it was only the fact that I was so focused on chewing him a new one that I just sat down, and kept right on a chewing.

This too will pass - there’s always the vasectomy….

  9. Dawn says:

*actually* now that I think of it - apparently post vasectomy it’s *very* bad to uh, check the pipes, in the first week - sorta like pouring salt on an open wound - so you could comfort yourself with the idea of sending him off for the snip someday and then ENCOURAGING him to … check stuff out….

ROFL, OMG your husband and mine… have the same asshat gene. Mine acted like I wasn’t pregnant at all, both pregnancies. You poor thing… I hope he gets a good dose of food poisoning. ;)

My asshat ignored the kids when they were screaming last night because they vrashed intoo each other head first, he was too busy playing his xbox 360.

The worst part? I think the real reason why he got po’d with me was because I probably embarrassed him by yelling at him while he had a live mic and was playing online with his buddies. I told him to get his effing priorities straight.

Yup, he more then likely was harassed by his gaming buddies for you yelling at him. LOL

Wow. I am sure your husband(s) are real pleased with your opinions of them ladies…..

    TMOTS

Not sure what TMOTS is… but that’s fine…

And I only wish my husband read this so he could understand how hurtful his accusations of faking have been to me. I am of the opinion that he should be pregnant even just for a day to understand what we women go through. I stand by that, thank you.

  12. Jennifer says:

OMG Sam! my husband always acted so put out during both of my pregnancies. He always acted like I was faking it, too.

I still have ALOT of anger about this. ALOT.

I wish our husbands could be pregnant, too. They deserve the misery.

Glad to know I’m not alone, nor over reacting. I feel very put out by his reactions and it’s driving me insane I am so mad about it.

Girl you are suffering needlessly … you are deficient in nutrients. Just because you take something like a general maintainance vitamin, doesn’t get you to where you need to be if you are starting out at a defecit. You gotta get some vitamin b 6 in you pronto….it is the nutrient in charge of regulating the hormone overload into your stomach making you sick. However, I reccoment you taking a multi b complex at least for two weeks then back to just your regular pre-natal vitamins. I hope you are taking them! (I have been working with Nutrition for about 30 years though never had the money to get the masters I wanted….due to raising two boys WITHOUT the a-hole fathers helping to any degree) You can find all kinds of good into on trusted sites real quick to back me up. Taking only one b vitamin, the way it is absorbed by the body, can make you deficient in another. Because the way it works chemically is like musical chairs. Any b vitamin can sit anywhere. Other nutrients have designated spots and are left empty if not filled. This is why taking a ‘balanced b 50′ is the best. It is high enough to get you out of the deficiency range and do it efficiently and quickly. Good luck and tell your husband he needs to watch out because one big slap is likely to hit him upside the head out of the blue! LOL and like my son says …. muhahhhhh ( I think! evil laughing you know )
