Growing up I was an avid reader. I bought books regularly and would finish them in sometimes as little as a day. I was a reader and an enthusiastic writer. I would create short stories of preteen romance which would drag on for-ever. If only I Had kept some of those stories from my childhood, but too ashamed of the crap I had written and for fear that my mother would read it, everything was thrown out and forgotten.
As I entered my teens, reading became more of a chore then enjoyment. All the textbooks and journals I was required to read for school changed my love for sitting down with a good book. Until recently, the majority of the words I have read have come from your blogs and trashy websites.
Until I became unbearably sick with this morning sickness, I haven’t spent much time with a good book in hand. But now I find myself in bed, just after putting Carter to sleep, and reading until the nausea has passed and I can comfortably go to sleep.
I doubt I would have been overcome with the urge to read had I not had this vile and disgusting nausea. I’ve read more books in the past 2 months then I have in the past five years. My love for reading novels has slowly, and hopefully, surely returned.
Not to say that I won’t continue to sit here on my hard ass wooden chair pouring over your written word, but there just seems to be more comfort sitting in a dimly lit room, under huge comforting covers with a great novel and until I get that damn laptop I’ve been BEGGING for, you just ain’t comin’ to be with me.
Once again GHD has hit me up, this time with the Nap Warden Award! So, I thought, what better opportunity to share with you some of the great blogs I’ve been really enjoying. To those that are listed below: consider this your tag and I like to see you also include a list of your favourite blogs that you’d like to share with your readers!
*Disclaimer: This list doesn’t include everyone that I love because well, there are too many of you. I’ve tried to keep it to the people that I don’t normally link to, a’ight?*

Okay, number one…thank you! I adore half of those listed and I’ll have to go check out the other half.
2. God, I remember morning sickness. I almost wanted to die it was so bad. I tried EVERYTHING and the only thing that worked (a little) was zofran. That and putting a pillow in the bathroom. If you’re going to spending that much time in there you might as well be comfy, right?

OOoh, thank you! This will be great for those days when I have nothing to write about. Wait, that’s every day.
I love reading books. I go through phases, usually about August-September where I’ll get hooked on one writer and for two months I read and read and read and read.

I heart books. I mean, absolutely, love them…more like on the verge of being obsessed with them. Probably stems from having an English Lit. degree. I have tons and I mean tons of books. I’m so obsessed with books, I like to go to thrift shops and buy more books…even though I have about 50 bazillion I haven’t read yet.
I love reading. Something about having a book in your hand is comforting. Reading on the computer, though as enjoyable as it is, just isn’t the same.
I’ll have to check out the links!

Dude, I feel so cool.
And I miss books. A lot. Ones that have words shorter then a half inch. Ahh to read a book again.
