That is hospital time not true labor. I was "in labor" with the 2nd one for 3 months! That's when my contractions started. I was on bed rest with daily contractions for the 3 months. I ended up with a C-section after a long labour and I was devastated when they told me it would have to be a section. As it turned out, the delivery and recovery were so much better than when I had a normal delivery that I won't be so concerned if the same happens again this time. Its like they want you to think its going to be soooo nice once you get that epidural and then BAM it stops working or only one side of your body is numb. Those bastards. Ahem. Sorry...still bitter about my one sided pain-fest labor a few years ago. Also, did you know your comment form is effed up? Then they broke my water (without telling me what they were doing) when I was only at 3 cm, sent me into transition labour with only seconds between contractions. I lasted an hour and a half like that, then got an epidural. There are so many more details, too many for a comment box.
