I don’t have any one specific incident, but I am the computer person in my family and my dad and aunt (and my husband to some extent) call me constantly - sometimes at work - to ask me questions. More often than not, they are questions that I can’t answer, since I can’t figure out what they are asking (”How do I get the thing to be over where I can see it? I triend pressing that other thing by that box, but it just went invisible by that hickamajig”)

My fiance is the same damn way, only thats with anything. If something doesn’t work in his favor and it’s operator error, it’s always, “God Damn piece of shit… fuckin thing never works.” And then like a 2 yr old he throws it.

    Ugh! MEN!!

I’m the defacto computer wiz in my family, but that’s not saying a whole lot.

I still have my first computer sitting in the basement. It’s a monster of a machine with its Y2K compatible sticker still affixed to the side.

My husband. A brand spanking new computer with DSL and if it takes a millasecond to load a page, he screams about the piece of shit computer being too slow. And the microwave, don’t get me started on that one.

Our first computer had MS DOS. I hated it! I am not a computer person, despite my in-laws thinking that I can fix anything computer. With them its easy, just hide the icons in the task bar. Love the new fresh design. I am behind, I’m sorry, I suck!
