One Hundred: Part One

All very valid fears (well, the knees are kinda weird). My brother goes into shock from any type of sting, as did my grandmother. I live in constant terror waiting for piglet to get his first sting so I know if he’s allergic or not.

I hate bees, wasps, and hornets, too, and as far as I can remember, I’ve only been stung once. (On the ear. Not pleasant.) Bugs in general creep me out, but only when they’re in my house. I’m like Suzanne Sugarbaker: “The man has to kill the bug!”

(And if there’s no man around? Call mom.)

The knee thing makes me think about the dreams I have where I can’t walk, I wonder if your fear stems from something like that?

The window thing? Oh my gosh. It is sooo scary being the only adult in our apartment sometimes. I have to act strong when my son says he’s scared, when inside I’m majorly freaking out. We are on the first floor in an area we haven’t lived in before so I don’t quite trust the area yet. Of course it doesn’t help that people have had their tires slashed and I’ve seen tons of cops in our complex, one time with a forensics van.

I have never been stung by a bee but I have a huge fear of them. Guess how I’ve gone all these years without a bee sting? I RUN!! Needless to say, I’ll never be one of those parents that says: “Oh honey, don’t run from the bee, you’ll only aggravate it!”

All relavant fears….except maybe the knee one. I’m also afraid of bees, snakes, needles. You actually are brave to tell the world what you fear! OH..and the parent thing…yeah, I think that affects all parents too. It’s really scary to think about all the psychos out there…..
    Anyway, great post!

Shania: Carter had his first sting last summer. Thankfully no reaction, but he still has a small pock mark on his cheek from it. :(

Karen: Oh yeah, I make the man kill the bugs, otherwise I pretend I never saw it… LOL

Natalie: Oh, I was creeped out in my apartment too - but I lived on the 18th floor. LOL!!

ali: It’s hard not to think about losing it, no matter how secure we think it may be, eh?

justmylife: Please don’t stop commenting!!! I LOVE that you do!

    Miss Britt:
Kick them out and stop working. Come back and visit me, I miss my Britt!

Brenda: I’m actually afraid of all insects, those are the worst though… yeah, I agree.. the knee thing is kinda strange.

Lack of commentors - is it going around? Because I’ve got the same thing going at my place. I think my blog has been abandoned. I can actually hear my posts echoing out into the emptiness. Where is everyone?

I have a lot of the same fears, except for public speaking. I love it. I must get it from my dad - he was a preacher.
