There are things I would changed if I could go back to highschool, but a lot of things I would not. I think you have to go through them to make you the person you are today, for better or worse! Highschool teaches you who your real friends are, your morals, and who you really are yourself. It makes you a better person in the long run!!

Happy Birthday Sam! I hope it’s great.

If I knew I could still have things the way they are today (meaning I’d still have my son), I would tell my high school self (a little longer ago than ten years for me) to go see a therapist and FINALLY tell someone what is really on your mind. You are not the only one and there is help. You will nearly fail high school for something that is easily treatable.

Happy Birthday! Time does go by fast. I’m 35, and it doesn’t feels like that long ago I was still in college.

If I had to go back and tell my high school self anything, it would be to work harder in school and not care so much about the social scene — particularly one you’ll never fit into anyway.
