“They” also say walking and having sex can help things along. At the end of my pregnancy with Julia I was so ready for her to come out, I was forcing my husband to have sex. Then, I’d walk around the block. My neighbor would say, “Still pregnant, eh?”

At first it was amusing. I’d smile and say, “Yep.” Pretty soon I was just giving him the finger.

I hope your baby comes soon!

Oh Sam, I DO know how much it sucks to make your 41st week appointment. Little Man was 8 days late, at which point he was served his eviction notice. He was already on his way by that time so the pitocin just sped things along. I am not going to tell you to not worry, this baby will come eventually because I know how much that will fucking annoy you. Because it fucking annoyed me when people would say it to me.

I will send you a six pack to celebrate the baby’s eviction. My biggest craving during my pregnancy was a dark, frothy beer, so I understand where you’re coming from!

I’ll say some prayers that this baby comes out very very soon… 41 weeks. YIKES. I won’t remind you.

ANYways…quick question off the pregnancy subject…what is the title of the font you use for your blog titles… I absolutely love it and it reminds me of my handwriting, it’s damn near identical…let me know when you get a chance!!

Sending lots of good thoughts your way for a very soon delivery!

I’m sorry you’re so funny when you’re pissed off (eek - please don’t kick me in the lady bits!) I’m also sorry you’re overdue. Arlo was two days late and I was bored, uncomfortable, and generally unpleasant. I hope the little bugger gets its shit together soon.

Interesting. My son was about two weeks late and his mother was in real/hard labor for 53 straight hours. He came out at 9lb 2oz and 22 inches. Not the biggest baby but if you consider his mother was 5′3″ and weighed 96lbs when she got pregnant… Not that you will have the same experience we did.

However, if you have ever watched Kyle XY then you know that the longer the kid stays in the oven the more intelligent and strong they will be. My son, who’s 11 now, has parents who have never been what you’d call healthy. In fact both of us are, let’s just say “sickly” and leave it at that. The boy, on the other hand, is strong as a bull and hardly ever gets sick.

Believe me, having a baby who sleeps through the night is a real blessing.
