May 27th, 2008
6 days overdue and I wake up to contractions this morning. Feeling like this is definitely it, I call Mike to come back home - at 5:45am, just after he got onto the highway to go to work. Contractions about 7 minutes apart and feeling “good”.
11am everything screeches to a halt.
Mike is out a day of work and I am pissed.
My induction is scheduled for tomorrow.
This baby will be hung upside down and get it’s ass smacked as soon as it’s out.

It almost seems fitting that Mike got to take the day off today whether it was for the baby to arrive or not. Enjoy your day as 3 cause you know what tomorrow is all about!

Oh My poor friend! I can COMPLETELY relate. At least he’ll match Benjamin by coming out with a full beard and teeth! LOL.
Hang in there friend…being induced isn’t the worst thing ever..you’ll do just fine.

Ugh, I know how you’re feeling. My son was 11 days late and I was ready to smack the next person who asked if I’d tried (fill in the blank). I stopped answering the phone too!

I’m so sorry it’s taking so long but congrats! New lurker and poster here. I got the PUPP rash w/my son and my OB felt bad for me and was supposed to induce me a week before my scheduled due date but instead the day before my induction I went into labor. Maybe you’ll go into labor too. It could happen:) Either way you’re getting a beautiful baby and again Congrats.

Waiting patiently for news. The kid should be evicted by now. I asked on Twitter yesterday for news, no replies! You are a hard person to get news about. Hope all went well and you are in my thoughts daily! Congratulations!!!!! Now we can find out whether it be girl or boy! I can’t wait!!!

I’m pretty sure you had the baby by now (one way or other). My guess is that you’ll be back bloging by, oh, say the week of June 16th. Maybe. Probably longer.
