Would anyone be interested in an online book club or sorts? I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I’m wondering if there would be any willing participants. Let’s Discuss! (Or if you know of a good one, will you let me know!?)

I started one awhile ago….just me and one other…and we’re right at the end of our first book. It’s going okay – but we both go busy and stopped following deadlines!?!

I’d be interested, definitely. It would be fun if we could take turns choosing the books.

I belong to Goodreads.com. It’s not exactly a book club but it’s a good way to see what others are reading and recommend. Send me an email if you want me to send you an invite. Not that you need one – but it’s easier to find people that way.

Ya, I agree Assertagirl was thinking about maybe we could create a list of books we’d like to read over the remainder of the year.. something like that?

I am also a member of goodreads.com catnip. It’s a good way to track what you’ve read and what other people suggest. I’ve found some excellent books from there.

I’d be interested in one too… but not too sure about the whole timeliness factor.
I used to belong to one that had weekly chats every Saturday morning… but I could only maintain that schedule for a month… and then slunk down to twice a month… and then… they stopped letting me know about what books were new. So I got kicked out without actually getting kicked out.
Crazy readers.

@ Dawg: Hahahaha – I don’t know what’s worse Britt getting kicked out of a mom group or you being kicked out of a book club!!
It would be pretty laid back, come and go as you please.
That’s why I’m asking what you guys think, so everyone would enjoy and have input!

I’m not really interested because I read so slowly… and stuff that others usually don’t read LOL
But I want to recommend a GREAT book as a starter book when you get something going. If I could afford it I would buy a copy for everybody I know. Amazing story: tragic, comic, inspiring… and real–The Class Castle.
