Years ago, when I was a kid, I learned that I had absolutely zero talent for the crafty stuff. I had an amazing doll house kit, and I built the thing, painted it, wallpapered it with old sample books and did the same with the carpet. When I was done, the whole thing leaned and tilted and looked like ass. It was like I built a tenement. It was horrible. I never tried to do anything like that again. I am so amused! I do much better with crafts that tell me what to do - like needlepoint, coloring. I tried learning how to knit, and even the scarf came out filled with holes and pulls. Alas! Yet, I find comfort in your site!! Yay!!! Marci B.Â´s last blog post..Day 26 On Jenny!

I like to think I’m crafty, but have deifnlty had some craftastrophes.

I once saw this flowly shirt at Zara and thought I can totally make that. So I went out and bought some fabric and came home with to sew it with my sewing machine. I got a shirt at home and cut around it with my fabric. I started to sew and cut and sew and cut. After a bit I tried it on, but it was a little tight. THe worst was I couldn’t get it off, my husband had to cut if off me…..

That was a craftastrophe….
