It’s not like me to come here and beg you to do something like part with your hard earned money, but I’m going to.
I am begging you to part with something, anything that may help this lovable little girl.

Madeline is the daughter of Heather – The Spohrs are Multiplying (@mamaspohr) and Mike – The Newborn Identity and she needs us.
Madeline’s story can be found here.
While at the moment she is here.
This sweet baby girl was taken via ambulance – lights a’ blazing to the hospital and now rests in the pediatric IUC.
From Heather’s site:
In the ER, an IV was started, x-rays were taken, and blood work was run. Maddie started to spike a fever and it’s gone steadily up since her arrival in the ER. Her heart rate is very high, and her respiratory rate is alarmingly high – about 65 – 75 breaths per minute. The doctors admitted her to the Pediatric ICU. This is good in that she has constant, intense monitoring, but bad because that means Mike and I can’t sleep with her. There has been talk of a ventilator because the doctors don’t want her to get too tired and stop breathing.
She needs us, as many young children do.
Please, I implore you to take a moment and donate.
I’ve done so. A website design for March for Maddie as well as $150.
And I don’t tell you that to toot my own horn… but to challenge you to beat it.
This is one challenge I’d LOVE to lose.

Sending so much positivity her way… Don’t know what else to do.
Maybe send a stuffed animal?

You CAN spend time overnight in PICU with your baby – but just one of you. (BTDT, never any fun, and you don’t sleep, but at least you’re close.) It’s a right many parents don’t know of.
I’ll keep the wee one in our thoughts. I’ve been down this road a few times myself. ((HUGS))
