In my defense for missing yesterday’s NaBloPoMo post, I had it already and preset to post since I couldn’t be near a computer yesterday.
I enter this this into evidence…
I had preset it with help from the wonderful Miss Britt.
[Because *apparently* the directions for editing the time stamp where just too simple that I knew there had to be more to it all. Fuckin' Wordpress.]
I thought I had done everything right… except… Count. The. Days. Yeah, apparently I picked for Sunday instead of Friday. I created the post on Thursday… I don’t know how I could have miscounted.
I blame Britt. It’s better then admitting that I may have fucked up.
Driving to work I find myself drifting in and out with the mundane travel through rush hour. Sometimes I find myself creating hypothetical situations. This was today’s:
Say you’re driving down the road at a steady speed and come to a stop light. There is a motorcycle just ahead of you in the other lane; you see a car approaching from behind that driver, the car is coming at full speed and appears to not see the light is red.
Knowing that the motorcycle operator would sustain fatal injuries from the impact, would you maneuver your car to try and protect the motorcycle’s occupant? Would you risk damage to your car, higher insurance costs and possible charges and even risk personal injury to save this person?
Even if the light were to turn green and the motorcyclist sped off, completely unknowing of what you had just done to save their life?
Would you sit and watch, hoping that the motorcyclist did see the car, or that the car did eventually see the motorcycle and red light?
It’s just a hypothetical. I know what everyone would like to do, so don’t put too much thought into it. What would be your initial gut reaction? No one is in the wrong.
I’d love to think that I would move my car to protect the motorcyclist, but I think I would be frozen in shock and worry that I wouldn’t act quick enough. Worry about personal injury and the cost of insurance. You know, the two fender benders I’ve had the first thought I had was worry about how this would affect my insurance rates. When my brother rolled his car, he wasn’t worried about himself, yet how much his insurance was going to go up. That’s seriously twisted.
Haggling and offering can be fun sometimes, it’s like an auction, but a little different… there’s more freedom and bargaining involved which I find almost as exhilarating as an auction itself… unless you run into this:
FAROUK CHI SILVER-NANO 1″ FLAT IRON HAIR STRAIGHTENER Your offer price: US $50.00
Seller terms: Thank you for your offer but we will not be able to sell you the product at that price. Your offer is significantly below what we can accept. Best of luck and hopefully we will have an opportunity to serve you in the future. BIN price: US $94.95
FAROUK CHI SILVER-NANO 1″ FLAT IRON HAIR STRAIGHTENER Your offer price: US $75.00
Seller terms: Thank you for your offer but unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with the product at that price. We appreciate your interest and hope you will visit our store for all your needs. BIN price: US $94.95
FAROUK CHI SILVER-NANO 1″ FLAT IRON HAIR STRAIGHTENER Your offer price: US $85.50
Seller terms: Thank you for your offer but unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with the product at that price. We appreciate your interest and hope you will visit our store for all your needs. BIN price: US $94.95
Tell me this: What is the point of having a “Or Best Offer” option if one is not willing to haggle on price? A mere 10 dollars less then the asking price was my final offer and yet this seller STILL declined. Why not just have a “Buy it NOW” option only instead of offering this bogus OBO shit?
Not to mention the exorbitant shipping charges to boot. I say Fuck that Shit.

Have you ever wanted to see a REAL celebrity sex tape? To tell you the truth I’ve been secretly interested in seeing one, though I never have until now.
