Help For Our Friends: Support Crickett’s Answer

by samantha on January 10, 2011

I first *met* Susan, WhyMommy in July, 2007. We attended BlogHer virtually through Second Life. She had been going through chemo and was too weak to attend BlogHer in person, I? Was too chicken shit. Instead of hitting “marked read”, I went through some of my daily reads, which were once part of my morning ritual: kids, TV, coffee, reader, it was confirmed that I’m not the only one who’s behind. It seems many of us … keep reading »

by samantha on November 23, 2010

Thanks to American Express for sponsoring my writing today about small businesses.  American Express is presenting Small Business Saturday, a way to honor the local merchants who are the backbone of the economy, this Saturday, November 27.  They’re offering statement credits to people who shop at small businesses, advertising for small-business owners, and donations to Girls Inc. for “Likes” of the Small Business Saturday page on Facebook.  Join the celebration by clicking the “Like” … keep reading »
